2'-fucosyllactose, or 2'-FL for short, is a fucosylated trisaccharide made up of L-fucose, D-galactose and D-glucose. Researchers first described it in the 1950s, and a standardised isolation technique has been in use since 1972. It is the most common oligosaccharide in human breast milk, where it accounts for roughly 30% of all oligosaccharides.

The powder in this pack is produced by fermentation at a leading German manufacturer and is standardised to a minimum 2'-FL content of 94%. It contains no fillers, sweeteners or flavourings. The texture is fine and free-flowing, the aroma neutral, and it dissolves quickly in cold or lukewarm water with a discreet sweetness.

The 250 g pack is made for adults who want 2'-FL as a stand-alone ingredient and prefer to measure it out themselves. Stir the powder into water, yoghurt, porridge or a smoothie, or let it dissolve straight in your mouth.
