The beaded model gives you more feedback as it moves, and its slower action makes it easier to time your jumps. It suits learning a steady rhythm. The 6 mm PVC model allows a faster pace while offering more noticeable resistance than a thin speed cord. Choose according to whether you mainly want to practise timing or keep jumping smoothly at a faster rhythm.

Start with the instructions for your specific model. For the PVC rope, stand on the middle of the cord and set the handles approximately level with your lower chest. Try the length before cutting and shorten it gradually; you cannot put a cut section back. The beaded model comes with its own assembly and adjustment video.

The PVC model has a 290 cm cord and is designed for people up to approximately 195 cm tall. These are different measurements: the first is cord length, the second is the person's height.

Choose a smooth surface for the PVC cord; rough asphalt causes unnecessary abrasion. The beaded model's product description also allows use on concrete, but always check that you have clear space around you and overhead before jumping. Remove dirt after outdoor use. Store the PVC cord loosely coiled away from direct sunlight, without leaving it sharply bent.

The workout link is provided by email or through a QR code in the box. The PVC model does not list this bonus, so do not assume it is included just because both models share the Katana Rope name.
