Men's joggers
BJP and Venum men's trousers include sweatpants and sports models. Compare room through the hips and thighs, leg length and fabric. Heavier sweatshirt fabric suits downtime, while lighter DRYCLIM is designed for movement; close-fitting leggings are a different type of fit.

How to choose joggers and sports trousers
Room through the thighs, leg length, fabric, pockets and differences between models.
What is the difference between regular, tapered trousers and leggings?
Regular describes a standard fit; a tapered leg narrows towards the ankle. A cuff at the bottom does not by itself mean the trousers fit tightly around the thighs. Core Cypress, for example, has a looser fit and cuffed ankles.
Sports leggings, by contrast, are a close-fitting layer. For everyday sweatpants, check room through the seat and thighs rather than judging only by a narrow ankle opening in the photo.
What should I check besides waist size?
Compare hip measurements, thigh room and inside leg length. On trousers that fit you well, measure the inside leg from the crotch seam to the hem. Compare using the diagram for the specific model.
Distinguish body circumference from the width of a garment laid flat, and a relaxed elastic waistband from a stretched one. When trying them on, sit down and squat: the waistband should stay in place without the fabric pulling at the seams. Your height alone does not determine your size.
Which fabric should I choose for downtime or exercise?
For cooler days, compare sweatshirt fabrics: MONOLITH V1 and V2 are 400 g/m², while Core Cypress is 320 g/m². BJP sports trousers specify lighter, moisture-wicking DRYCLIM in 100% polyester at 215 g/m².
These figures apply to those particular models. Higher fabric weight is not automatically better and does not determine warmth on its own. For vigorous exercise, also assess breathability, range of motion and whether the fabric restricts you when you try it on.
Do all joggers have zipped pockets?
No. BJP sports trousers have two zipped front pockets. Core Cypress has two side pockets and one rear pocket, but its description does not specify zip closures. Pocket count alone is not enough.
If you carry a phone or keys while moving, check both closure type and pocket depth on the particular model. For contact training, check pocket and zip suitability with your coach; everyday sweatpants do not replace clothing designed for grappling.
How do MONOLITH V1 and V2 sweatpants differ?
According to their descriptions, both black models have a regular fit, 85% cotton and 15% polyester fabric at 400 g/m². Both have a drawstring waistband, side pockets and gathered ankle openings.
The graphics differ: V1 has small BJP branding by the pocket and a geometric motif lower on the leg; V2 has outlined BJP lettering and a coloured geometric detail. Do not choose V2 assuming it is warmer. Compare the design and the measurements for your size.
Will the trousers shrink, and can I tumble dry them?
Preshrunk does not mean the measurements can never change. Core Cypress has a preshrunk finish, but its care instructions still specify a 30°C wash and no tumble drying. MONOLITH V1 and V2 specify the same temperature and no tumble dryer.
Wash inside out according to the label, reshape after washing and dry as directed. Do not try to correct an unsuitable size with a hot wash: the result is unpredictable and can damage the fabric and graphics.
