No. Bee bread, also called perga, forms when pollen and honey ferment in the comb. It comes as tangy granules and is sold here as Ambrosia. Royal jelly is a creamy feeding secretion produced by bees. ApiDrohn, or Apilarnil, comes from drone larvae and the contents of their cells and is sold freeze-dried as powder or capsules. These ingredients are not interchangeable by weight or serving instructions.

Royal Jelly in Honey 250 g contains 20% royal jelly and 80% honey, giving 50 g of royal jelly in the whole jar. The separate Organic Royal Jelly 25 g is pure royal jelly without honey. Compare the royal jelly proportion: 5 g of this honey blend contains 1 g of royal jelly. The honey version tastes sweeter, while pure royal jelly has a distinctly tangy flavour.

Both the Organic Royal Jelly and Royal Jelly in Honey in this range specify cold storage at or below 5 °C. Containing honey therefore does not make the blend suitable for pantry storage. ApiDrohn is freeze-dried and its instructions specify a cool, dry, dark place. Ambrosia's requirements depend on the version. Check storage before buying and close the container immediately after taking a portion.

Neither fermentation nor freeze-drying guarantees the removal of allergens. If you have a known allergy to bee products, do not try the product even in a small amount.
