It depends on the model and activity. Sweatshorts work for everyday wear and lighter exercise; Sakura Storm uses polyester mesh and its description also includes gym use. Being listed in this category does not confirm suitability for contact training.

For MMA or grappling, choose sports shorts for your discipline. Check range of motion, pockets and fastenings; a loose look or polyester fabric alone does not turn everyday shorts into fight shorts.

Black BJP Basic Core shorts are 80% cotton and 20% polyester at 280 g/m². Black Venum Classic shorts use 100% cotton French terry. Both have pockets for everyday wear.

Sakura Storm uses 100% polyester heavyweight mesh, a denser mesh construction. Choose between a sweatshirt-type surface and a mesh structure; the word mesh does not automatically mean the thinnest or a see-through fabric.

Do not judge length from the photo alone. The model's height, size worn and waistband position all affect where the hem sits. Measure shorts you like: the inside leg from crotch to hem and, if needed, the outer length from the top of the waistband.

Compare the same measurement using the product diagram. Then check room above the knee when sitting and lifting your leg. If no length is listed, send us the model name and size you want; we do not estimate centimetres from a photo.

No. Hips and thighs matter too. A drawstring can tighten a looser waistband, but cannot add room to tight legs. When trying shorts on, sit down and raise a knee: the waistband should hold and the crotch should not pull.

Check whether the chart describes body circumference or a flat garment, and whether the elastic waistband is measured unstretched. If your waist and hips fall into different sizes, compare another cut rather than automatically choosing the smaller size.

An open pocket does not secure its contents. Venum Classic has open side and rear pockets. BJP Basic Core has two side pockets and one rear pocket; Limited lists side pockets. Check the closure on your chosen model separately.

For walking, assess pocket depth and whether your phone gets in the way when sitting. For running, you also need stable storage and a suitable closure. Check the detail photos; pockets alone do not guarantee that nothing will fall out.

Black Basic Core, Venum Classic and Sakura Storm specify washing at 30°C and no tumble drying. Turn them inside out and follow the garment label. Sakura Storm also explicitly specifies no fabric softener.

A logo may be printed, embroidered or on a woven label, so do not apply one model's instructions to all the others. Basic Core specifies low-temperature ironing away from the embroidery; Limited specifies ironing away from the label. Keep mesh away from exposed hook-and-loop fasteners.
