What is the difference between a snapback and a trucker cap?
Snapback describes an adjustable fastening with plastic straps, pins and holes. A trucker cap has mesh at the back. The same cap can therefore be both a trucker and a snapback: the names describe different parts of its construction.
A snapback does not necessarily have a flat peak. Always check the photos and description of the specific model or variant for the peak shape.
How do I know whether a cap will fit?
On an adjustable model, the rear fastening changes the circumference, but not the depth of the crown. The cap should stay in place when you turn your head, without pressing into your forehead or sitting uncomfortably on your ears.
Measure around your head with a soft tape above your eyebrows and ears. If the model has no size range in centimetres, a one-size label alone does not guarantee that it will fit everyone. Send us the model name and your measurement; we can clarify what size information can be checked.
Which models have a flat peak and which have a curved one?
The BJP Snapback MONOLITH V1 has a flat peak; the Trucker MONOLITH V4 and Desert Trucker have curved peaks. Choose the profile you prefer: a side view usually shows the difference more clearly than a front view.
For the BJP Cap Neon Flame, also check the variant you select. It comes in both curved-peak and flat-peak versions, with mesh at the back of both.
Which construction should I choose for warmer weather?
If you want a more open back, look for mesh trucker caps, such as Black & White or Desert. Stealth Blue uses panels with ventilation holes instead of mesh; UFC Zenith Fight Night caps also have perforations.
Check the front as well: the Black & White Trucker has a foam front panel, so the whole cap is not made of mesh. The word performance alone does not specify the fabric composition or a sun protection rating.
Can I put a cap in the washing machine?
Follow the cleaning instructions for the individual model. Most BJP caps and the UFC Zenith models require spot cleaning with a soft damp cloth only. Do not assume they can be fully soaked, machine washed or tumble dried.
The Desert Trucker description, however, permits hand washing in lukewarm water. After cleaning, let the cap air dry, preserve the peak shape and do not iron over embroidery. The care label on your particular item takes priority.
