What is the difference between the 30% and 100% versions?
The 30% models declare a partial filter. The BJP II version with a 100% declaration has strongly orange lenses and is described for evening screen use. The tint changes image colours, which matters for tasks such as photo editing. These figures are product declarations; without spectral measurements they do not establish transmission at every individual wavelength.
Does the second-generation II have a stronger filter than the original?
Not automatically. Both the original model and version II are available with a declared 30% filter. The II description mainly specifies a larger frame. Separate filter type from frame size when choosing. Unisex does not mean a fit for everyone; if you need to compare the width with your current glasses, send us the specific model and the measurement you need.
Will the glasses solve eye strain or sleep problems?
That outcome cannot be promised. Clinical studies of these filters have not established a clear benefit for computer-related eye strain, and sleep findings are inconclusive. Treat the filter as a lens feature, not a treatment. Keep taking screen breaks, adjust brightness and remember to blink. Persistent eye pain or blurred vision should be assessed by an eye care professional.
Can these replace prescription glasses, sunglasses or protective goggles for an LED panel?
Do not confuse different purposes. These models do not list prescription correction, and a blue-light filter declaration alone does not establish UV protection or suitability for driving. With a powerful LED panel, use the eye protection specified by its manufacturer, not ordinary screen glasses. If you need vision correction, choose a suitable solution with an optician.
How should I clean them, and is the case the same for every model?
Wipe the lenses gently with an optical cloth, without grinding dirt into the surface, and protect the frame from pressure and high heat. Use a case when carrying them. The original 30% model explicitly includes a soft protective case; do not assume this also applies to versions II. Before ordering II, have any included accessories confirmed for that specific model.
