The same Korean 9X purple bamboo salt as the loose version, only encapsulated. 120 capsules of 770mg give you 92.4g of salt per pack and an exactly measured dose, without having to deal with the strong sulphurous aroma.

The salt is made in Korea across nine firing cycles. Sun-dried fleur de sel from the west coast is packed into bamboo tubes at least three years old, the tubes are sealed with clay and go into a pine wood kiln. The process repeats nine times, and on the final firing the salt melts and sets into purple crystals as it cools. The purple comes from carbon and sulphur out of the bamboo. The full cycle takes over three years and is done by hand.

The capsules exist for one reason. The sulphurous edge of this salt is genuinely strong, and plenty of people simply cannot take it neat or stirred into water. A capsule goes down and that is that. If you want the salt for something else, just pull a capsule apart and tip the powder out, because there is nothing inside but the salt.
