Alkaline Okinawa Minerals is a powder made from fossilised Sango coral off Okinawa in Japan. It carries 76 minerals and trace elements, led by calcium and magnesium in their natural 2:1 ratio. Nothing else goes into the jar, no fillers and no additives.

The coral is micronised down to particles of 8 microns, considerably finer than ordinary coral powders. Only dead, fossilised coral gathered from the seabed is harvested, and the Japanese authorities police that harvest so living reefs stay untouched. Every batch is tested for contaminants from the sea.

Eight microns show: the powder disperses in water without a trace of grit and goes into anything, from soup to morning porridge. The jar holds 100 g, which lasts 50 to 100 days at 1 to 2 g a day.

Dosage

Adults and children from 12 years: 1 to 2 g a day. Athletes: 2 g a day. Children under 12: 0.5 to 1 g a day. A level coffee spoon is roughly 3 g, and a micro scale measures it more precisely. Stir the powder into water, or mix it into food, soup or a drink. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
