Vitamins D3 and K2 for adults who want both in one supplement and just one capsule a day. Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the maintenance of normal muscle function. Vitamins D and K contribute to the maintenance of normal bones.

Why vitamins D3 and K2 together
Vitamin D contributes to normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus. Vitamin K contributes to normal blood clotting and to the maintenance of normal bones, as does vitamin D. That is why the two vitamins are often taken together. The body makes vitamin D mainly in the skin through exposure to sunlight. When there is little sun, typically from autumn to spring, many people therefore supplement it.
What is in the capsule
Vitamin D3 is supplied as cholecalciferol and vitamin K2 as menaquinone-7 (MK-7) from K2VITAL® 1% DELTA. 100 µg of vitamin D equals 4,000 IU. This is a high dose, so the product is intended for adults; see the warnings below for details. The capsule shell is made from plant-based cellulose (HPMC), and the pack contains 100 capsules, or 100 daily servings.
Recommended daily intake
Take 1 capsule daily with water. Do not increase the recommended dose.

When during the day should I take it?
The time of day matters less than taking it regularly. Vitamins D and K are fat-soluble, so many people take them with a meal.
Why choose capsules instead of drops?
Each capsule contains a precisely measured amount of both vitamins, so there are no drops to count. If your doctor recommends a different amount of vitamin D, choose a product with the appropriate content.
Is this product vegan?
The capsule shell is plant-based HPMC. The supplier does not specify the origin of vitamin D3 for this product, so we do not label it as vegan.
Can I combine it with a multivitamin?
First check how much vitamin D your other supplements contain. This capsule alone provides 100 µg, so only add more vitamin D if your doctor recommends it.
Warnings and storage
For adults. One capsule contains 100 µg of vitamin D, equal to the EFSA tolerable upper intake level for adults from all sources, including food. Consult a doctor before use, particularly during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if you take medication. If you take warfarin or another vitamin K antagonist, use this product only in agreement with your doctor.
Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Food supplements must not replace a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of children.
