Samurai: Czech tea shots instead of an energy drink

Samurai is a Czech brand that makes energy from real loose-leaf tea. Quality green, black or maté tea is cold-brewed for more than twelve hours into a concentrated shot; you pour a 50 ml measure and get roughly 55 to 90 mg of natural theine, depending on the variety. No synthetic caffeine, no additives, and in most of the range no sugar either.

The brand started ten years ago as an alternative to canned energy drinks and has since added sparkling tea drinks and the canned Energy line. The flavour spectrum is wide, from bitter Vietnamese green tea through earthy pu-erh to dessert-like combinations of lychee and rose.
