Cyclosome Liposomal Vitamin C is a high-dose vitamin C tablet in which ascorbic acid is enclosed in liposomes together with a cyclodextrin complex. A daily dose of two tablets holds 1000 mg of vitamin C, which is 1250 % of the reference intake, plus 25 mg of citrus bioflavonoids.

The Cyclosome technology was developed by the American company Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals. Vitamin C is bound to lecithin phospholipids and enclosed in a complex with hydroxypropyl-beta-cyclodextrin. The tablets need no refrigeration and one jar covers a hundred daily doses.

A daily dose is two 500 mg tablets, best taken with food, and nothing stops you splitting them between morning and evening. Anyone going to the top of the range takes two tablets twice a day, which comes to 2000 mg. The tablets are swallowed whole, so there is no powder to measure and no drink to stir.
