Hydra Worx comes out of the Finnish and Swedish plants of NutriWorks, and its carbohydrate base is cyclic dextrin and glucose polymers from maize with added electrolytes: magnesium, sodium and potassium. The flavour is orange, sweetened with isomalt and stevia.

This one is made to drink during a session. You stir 25 g into half a litre of water and sip it between sets or rounds. A serving carries 20 g of carbohydrate and 80 kcal, so one bottle covers both your fluids and your carbohydrate.

There are no artificial colours in the mix; the colour comes from dried melon and the aroma from orange flavouring. A 500 g pack works out at 20 servings.

Figures are given per 100 g. 1 serving = 25 g (80 kcal, 20 g carbohydrate). Other ingredients: electrolytes (magnesium citrate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, potassium salts of citric acid), sweeteners (isomalt, steviol glycosides), acidity regulators (malic acid, ascorbic acid), dried melon, orange flavouring.

Directions

Stir about 25 g, one scoop, into half a litre of water and sip it through your session.
