Järn is the Swedish word for iron, and iron is what this capsule is built around: 20 mg of it as iron bisglycinate, meaning iron bound to the amino acid glycine. Next to it sits 100 mg of vitamin C as calcium ascorbate.

That pairing is deliberate. Vitamin C increases iron absorption, so the two belong in the same capsule. Iron alone covers 143 % of the nutrient reference value per daily dose, and vitamin C covers 125 %.
