Joya ESSENTIAL MMA Sparring Gloves, Black/Gold
Product detailed description
Sparring is where your form is built. Joya Essential MMA Sparring Gloves are made for exactly that – the round padding shape allows maximum output during striking drills, while the thicker foam layer protects both you and your sparring partner. 25 years of Joya experience condensed into an affordable Essential collection.
The gloves combine open fingers for grappling, clinch and ground transitions with a padded striking surface for safe stand-up exchanges. A full wrist-wrap Velcro closure ensures a secure fit and joint support in every action. An elegant black/gold finish with the Joya logo.
Made from quality synthetic leather (PU) that resists moisture and intense training. The 200 g weight and hybrid sparring shape make these gloves an ideal choice for mixed training, where you transition between striking and grappling without changing equipment.

Use and care
After each session, air out the gloves and let them dry naturally away from direct heat. The interior can be wiped with a damp cloth – do not machine wash or tumble dry. To remove moisture and odour, we recommend glove inserts or an antibacterial spray. Choose the correct size based on your hand circumference and intended use.
Warning

Joya Gear: Dutch kickboxing and MMA equipment
Joya Gear started in 2005 in Almere in the Netherlands and grew out of kickboxing, the sport in which the Dutch set the standard for the rest of Europe. The brand was built by a founding family around Sohail and Samina, who began with imported equipment and today manufacture in partner factories in Pakistan and a premium facility in Thailand. Fighters such as Alex Pereira and Jiří Procházka train or compete in Joya.
Joya gloves are known for the shape of their padding and for a wide range of models with clear purposes: light MMA gloves for freedom of movement, rounded sparring gloves with thicker padding, and classic boxing gloves for bag work and sparring. The Essential line keeps the price accessible, while Performance and Evolution are built for heavier training loads.
At BJP Store you will find
- MMA gloves – Free Fight for technique work, Essential Sparring for safe sparring, Performance for advanced training.
- Boxing gloves – Strike, Essential, Evolution and Performance V2 in the usual weights.
- Protection and bags – FF Metal Pro shin guards and Evolution sports bags.
