Choosing your size (oz)
Choose the glove size based on body weight and type of training: 12 oz as a versatile choice for technical training, 14 oz for lighter sparring and harder bag work, 16 oz as the standard for sparring. Heavier athletes usually choose a higher weight.
Use and care
After each training session, air the gloves out and let them dry naturally away from any direct heat source. Wipe the interior with a damp cloth; do not use a washing machine or dryer. To remove moisture and odour we recommend glove inserts or an antibacterial spray.

Always follow your coach's instructions during training and use gloves appropriate to the type of training. This product is not a toy; keep out of reach of small children.

Joya Gear: Dutch kickboxing and MMA equipment
Joya Gear started in 2005 in Almere in the Netherlands and grew out of kickboxing, the sport in which the Dutch set the standard for the rest of Europe. The brand was built by a founding family around Sohail and Samina, who began with imported equipment and today manufacture in partner factories in Pakistan and a premium facility in Thailand. Fighters such as Alex Pereira and Jiří Procházka train or compete in Joya.
Joya gloves are known for the shape of their padding and for a wide range of models with clear purposes: light MMA gloves for freedom of movement, rounded sparring gloves with thicker padding, and classic boxing gloves for bag work and sparring. The Essential line keeps the price accessible, while Performance and Evolution are built for heavier training loads.
At BJP Store you will find
- MMA gloves – Free Fight for technique work, Essential Sparring for safe sparring, Performance for advanced training.
- Boxing gloves – Strike, Essential, Evolution and Performance V2 in the usual weights.
- Protection and bags – FF Metal Pro shin guards and Evolution sports bags.
