A big backpack for guards, gloves and drinks
The Joyagear Strike is a backpack for kickboxing and Muay Thai when you want your whole kit on your back. According to Joyagear it takes shin guards, boxing gloves, clothes and water bottles. Drinks or a snack go in the pocket with an aluminium lining, and the zips are water-resistant.
A pocket with an aluminium lining
It is meant for drinks, energy bars or a snack that you want to stay cold or warm for longer than in a normal pocket.
Water-resistant zips
The water-resistant zips protect your kit from rain and damp. Don't treat the backpack as waterproof, though.
A mini pocket and mesh pockets
Keys and other small items have their own mini pocket. The mesh side pockets are for a bottle or things you need quickly.

When a smaller backpack will do
Going by its dimensions, the Strike is the biggest backpack in the category. If you only carry gloves, hand wraps and clothes, the Venum Challenger Pro Evo backpack in black and gold with its 20–25 L capacity is enough.
Care and cleaning
After every session, take out any damp gear and open the pockets. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth, don't machine wash the backpack and let it dry naturally.

Do shin guards fit in it?
Yes, Joyagear lists shin guards explicitly, along with gloves, clothes and bottles.
Is the backpack waterproof?
No. The water resistance applies to the zips, and Joyagear doesn't claim it for the backpack as a whole. It will cope with ordinary rain on the way to training, but don't expect more.
Who makes Joyagear?

Joya Gear: Dutch kickboxing and MMA equipment
Joya Gear started in 2005 in Almere in the Netherlands and grew out of kickboxing, the sport in which the Dutch set the standard for the rest of Europe.
