A classic cotton wrap, about function rather than technology. 100% cotton takes up sweat and lets the hand breathe, which is the difference from synthetic wraps that trap heat faster. The end is held by five centimetres of hook-and-loop, so nothing comes undone.

The thumb loop is the detail anyone appreciates who has ever tried wrapping a hand without one. The wrap goes on the thumb and runs itself from there, with nothing to hold in place.

At 450 cm the length is the useful middle: enough for real support at the wrist and knuckles, still slim enough under a glove. Wraps also keep the inside of a glove drier, because the sweat ends up in cotton rather than foam. Orange is one of those colours that does not vanish in a kit bag.

Use

Put the loop on your thumb, run the wrap across the back of the hand and take several turns at the wrist, then over the knuckles and between the fingers. Finish at the wrist and secure the tab. The wrap should sit firm without restricting circulation.

Care

Wash after every session or the cotton stiffens and smells. Into the machine rolled up or in a laundry bag so they do not tangle with the rest. Dry in the open.
