Leucine is one of the three branched chain amino acids, alongside isoleucine and valine. Ready made BCAA blends fix the ratio at 2:1:1 or 4:1:1, so you buy the other two along with it. Dosing leucine on its own puts the amount back in your hands: two scoops make 5 g, and a 300 g tub covers 60 servings.
