In EcoloMega® fish oil the fatty acid profile stays as the fish had it. Two capsules of Nordbo Omega 3 & Astaxanthin therefore carry omega-6, omega-7, omega-9 and omega-11 alongside the omega-3, the very groups that ordinary concentrated oils lose along the way.
The oil comes from Danish trout raised under ASC certification. The manufacturer states that three to four hours pass between the catch and the finished oil. Two capsules hold 1,500 mg of EcoloMega® oil, which naturally carries a vitamin E mix of its own.
The second component is AstaPure®, astaxanthin from the red alga Haematococcus pluvialis, at 4 mg per two capsules. The shell is ASC-certified fish gelatine, so unlike the rest of the Nordbo range this one is not suitable for vegans or vegetarians. Made in Sweden.
