Orgainic organic protein energy bars are 50 g bars held together by dates and date syrup, with organic Orgainic whey protein from grass fed cows mixed through them. No cheap oil, no artificial sweetener, no label that runs to two paragraphs.
You reach for one when there is no time for a proper meal and the vending machine is the only other option. Depending on the version a bar gives you 9.5 to 11 g of protein and 193 to 200 kcal, enough to bridge the gap between training and dinner. Protein contributes to the maintenance of muscle mass.
There are two versions, cocoa and peanut and vanilla and almond. The sweetness comes from dates and date syrup, so the bar is high in sugars, 18 to 19 g per piece. Straight talk: this is fuel for your backpack, not a diet snack.

Warning
Not a substitute for a varied diet. Allergens: both versions contain milk from the whey protein. The cocoa and peanut version also contains peanuts, the vanilla and almond version contains almonds and cashew nuts. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. The best before date is printed on the wrapper.
