Oyster Max is a concentrated Irish oyster extract in capsules, which means zinc and a range of trace elements in the form a whole food delivers them. A daily dose of 5 capsules holds 1500 mg of extract and 1.95 mg of zinc, or 20 % of the reference intake.

The extract is made from oyster meat only, never the shells, and the oysters are harvested from Atlantic waters off the Irish coast. The label lists nothing beyond oyster powder and a plant-based capsule. No fillers, no starches, no colours.

Take the capsules between meals rather than with food, so the standard five a day split easily across a morning and an afternoon. If your zinc needs run higher you can go up to fifteen a day, which puts a 120-capsule tub somewhere between eight and twenty-four days of use.
