There is one raw material in this tub: magnesium citrate. No filler, no sweetener, no flavouring and no colour. Pure Magnesium Citrate by NutriWorks is an instant powder and you measure out 1.5 g of it, roughly three scoops, for 250 mg of elemental magnesium.

Citrate is an organic salt and it dissolves in water, unlike magnesium oxide, which cheap tablets use because it packs more magnesium per gram. Magnesium contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to normal muscle function, which is a fairly relevant pair if you train.

Powder has one practical edge over capsules: you can split the serving or raise it depending on the day, without counting tablets. A 200 g tub covers roughly 133 daily servings and is suitable for vegans.
