Only 3 to 4 hours pass between the trout leaving the water and the bottle being sealed. That is why EcoloMega® tastes of lemon instead of fish, which is usually the reason a bottle of fish oil ends up forgotten at the back of a cupboard.
This is a liquid oil from rainbow trout farmed under ASC certification and processed in Scandinavia. No single fatty acid is isolated from it, so it keeps its native profile of omega-3, 6, 7, 9 and 11. One teaspoon (5 ml) gives you 700 mg of omega-3, including 125 mg of EPA and 325 mg of DHA.
EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart, DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA, or 250 mg of DHA respectively. One teaspoon clears both thresholds.

Dosage
Children aged 1 to 10: 2.5 ml a day, half a teaspoon. Children aged 11 to 17: 5 ml a day. Adults, including pregnant and breastfeeding women: 5 to 15 ml a day. Take it straight from the spoon after a meal, or stir it into yoghurt or a smoothie. Keep it refrigerated once opened.
