Chaga is a birch fungus that people in Siberia have brewed as a daily decoction for centuries. Transcended Chaga is a concentrated 12:1 extract from the fruiting bodies of wild Siberian chaga (Inonotus obliquus), freeze-dried into a fine crystalline powder. The 50 g pack lasts 50 servings of 1 g.
Extraction is done with hot water, the same way chaga has traditionally been prepared. Roughly twelve kilograms of fruiting bodies go into one kilogram of extract. The chromogenic complex is standardised at 52 %, and the extract also naturally contains beta-glucans and melanin.
The taste is earthy and lightly bitter, close to strong black coffee without the acidity. Drink it on its own in warm water, or stir it into tea or a smoothie. There is no caffeine in it, so it works late in the afternoon too.

Dosage
Stir 1 g, about half a teaspoon, into warm water that is not boiling. It dissolves just as well in tea or a smoothie. The recommended dose is one serving a day, ideally warm.
