Cordyceps is one of the most prized ingredients of Himalayan tradition – highlanders in Tibet and Bhutan have used it for centuries as a tonic during physical exertion at high altitude, and today it is reached for mainly by athletes and people under long-term strain. Transcended Cordyceps is genuine wild cordyceps (Ophiocordyceps sinensis) in whole form, Super A grade, hand-picked in the high mountain valleys of Bhutan at 4,000 to 5,400 m above sea level. The pack contains 5 g of gently dried whole pieces with no additives.

Dosage
The most common preparation is an infusion: steep 2–3 pieces in 0.5–1 l of hot water in a closed jar for 30 minutes, drink the infusion and eat the softened pieces. Alternatively chew 1–2 pieces a day. Rinse the pieces briefly with water before use.
