Ubiquinol by Dr. Mercola is a food supplement built around coenzyme Q10 in its reduced form. One capsule carries 100 mg of Kaneka Ubiquinol, the raw material made by the Japanese producer Kaneka through biological fermentation. One capsule a day covers the full 100 mg, with nothing to split and nothing to count up.
Ubiquinol is chemically the reduced form of coenzyme Q10, while ubiquinone is the oxidised one. That is exactly why processing it is sensitive to airborne oxygen, and why Dr. Mercola uses hard Caplique capsules that seal the contents in rather than soft gels.
