Pull it on over a damp rash guard on the way out of the gym and the brushed fleece takes the chill off the walk home. Paon Green is a deep peacock teal: darker than most greens, quieter than any print, so the hoodie works with black joggers, jeans or the matching Silent Power bottoms.

Silent Power is Venum's low-key line. Instead of a chest-wide logo you get a small embroidered mark over the heart and a branded patch on the hood, and the rest of the garment stays plain. The regular fit gives room across the shoulders and chest without hanging loose at the hem, which is why it layers easily over a T-shirt or a compression top.

The cotton-blend fleece is heavier than a summer sweatshirt, so treat it as your autumn and winter warm-up piece: on for the drive, off for the first round.

Size and fit

Regular fit: take the size you normally wear in T-shirts and sweatshirts. If you sit between two sizes and plan to wear the hoodie over a thicker layer, go up one size; for a cleaner line worn over a T-shirt, stay with the smaller one.

Care

Machine wash at 30 °C with similar colours, turned inside out to protect the embroidery. Do not tumble dry; hang or lay flat to dry and it keeps its shape and colour for longer.
