Vitamin E from Dr. Mercola is more than alpha-tocopherol. A single capsule carries the full complex of tocopherols and tocotrienols in all four forms: alpha, beta, gamma and delta. The raw materials come from sunflower, rice bran and oil palm fruit, so this is not synthetic dl-alpha-tocopherol.
Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. One capsule with a meal is the whole routine, and because vitamin E is absorbed along with fat, it belongs with breakfast or lunch rather than on an empty stomach between meals.
The capsules are sealed with Licaps® technology, which closes the contents away from air. MCT oil is the carrier and the shell is plant cellulose. One bottle holds 90 capsules, which is a three month supply.

Dosage
Take 1 capsule a day with food. Vitamin E is absorbed together with fats, so take it with a meal that contains some.

The amount is stated on the label in international units (IU). The conversion is based on natural d-alpha-tocopherol, where 1 IU equals 0.67 mg α-TE. The nutrient reference value (NRV) for vitamin E is 12 mg α-TE.
Other ingredients: capsule (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), medium chain triglycerides. Each bottle holds 90 capsules.
