This is a 100% organic, unpasteurized raw honey from the Greek island of Ikaria in the Aegean Sea, combining pine and wildflowers in one jar. It is harvested and jarred by local beekeepers whose families have kept bees for more than five generations. Each 250 g glass jar holds raw honey certified organic under GR-BIO-03, never heated at any point.

The flavour brings together notes of buttery caramel, resin, honeycomb, molasses and wildflowers. With a glucose content below 30%, this honey almost never crystallizes and stays liquid for a long time. The beekeepers work in a semi-wild style with different types of hives, handling the honey as little as possible.

Directions for use

Start with 1 teaspoon of honey. It tastes best on its own, straight from the spoon, left to dissolve slowly in your mouth. Do not add it to tea or coffee, and never to hot drinks.
