Checking in from Thailand! We’re putting a lot into this camp. Our time here is slowly coming to an end. I’ve been excited about every single training session I’ve had here. Each session flows perfectly into the next. The sparring partners are great, too. So, from every angle, this has been a really good camp.
What makes me happiest is the work I’ve done with coach Danny de Vries during our time in Thailand. With him, I’m managing to break some of the habits I’ve had for a long time and teach my body the things I need and want to change in my fighting. But I don’t want to say much more about that yet. What matters is showing it in the fight. Until then, I’ll mostly keep quiet about it.
A team running like clockwork
I’m happy that our whole team is running like clockwork. We’re on Koh Samui, we have everything we need here, we’re staying just a few metres from one another, and we can arrange training whenever we want. We have sparring partners for everything. And the coaching team is working perfectly. So I’m very happy.

Stirling’s ammunition
The team and I are analysing my opponent pretty much nonstop. I know Navajo Stirling will have plenty of ammunition for me from his preparations, but I also know he’s preparing for a completely different Jiří Procházka from the one I am now. So I’ll be ready.
The work comes first
Being on Koh Samui, there isn’t quite the same “fight atmosphere” as somewhere like Phuket. But there are still plenty of fans here. We’re at SuperPro gym, where there are a lot of fighters, and therefore fans, too. I originally wanted to organise a get-together with people here, but in the end I decided I wanted as few interruptions to my schedule as possible during camp. That’s also why I’m not posting much on social media right now. I’m focusing entirely on the work, which is what matters most to me.
We’ve even scheduled our sessions for when the gym is quiet: early in the morning and after midday. We’ve really got it worked out.
Each training session builds on the last.
Time away from my daughter
I won’t lie, it’s hard being without Elenka. Even though I’m also rushing around a lot during the day back in Czechia, I get to be with her in the morning and evening. At the very least, I pick her up and hold her for a while, skin to skin. Breathe in her scent. But now… After just a week, I could feel how much I really missed her. Both my girls.
At least I call them every day. In the morning when they get up, and in the evening when I go to bed. I’m starting to discover a new dimension of human love. How powerful it can be, even at this distance. How much you can miss human contact.
But every call home wakes me up and brings me back to the awareness I need to keep my goal in sight.
A quiet moment of focus in the middle of camp.
A message to the fans
I’m sorry I’m not quite as active on social media right now, but that’s because I need to break down the old Jiří and build a new one. And I hope and believe I’ll have the chance to show that fully.
There’s so much I’d love to share with you, including what’s happening at BJP Store. We have the new BJP x Tobias Equipment collection, for example, with great hoodies and joggers. Or the excellent BJP Ashwagandha KSM-66. I’d love to talk to you more about these things, too, because my team and I have put a huge amount of effort into them, and I’m happy we’re doing well in this area as well. But there’ll be more time for that after the fight.
So thank you so much to everyone who supports me. Even though I’m not constantly putting out news and posts, you’re the loyal fans who stick with me.
And remember: We came into this world for no other reason than to be the very best version of ourselves, to enjoy that fully and, above all, to truly live it. And to pass on whatever gifts we have to spare.
Enough talk. It’s time for action. All the best!
