Nutrient Optimiser combines four things people usually buy separately: the DigeZyme® enzyme complex at 450 mg, four strains of lactic acid bacteria totalling 975 million CFU, BioPerine® black pepper fruit extract standardised to 95% piperine, and minerals with vitamin B6.
The mineral part is not there to pad the label. Three capsules deliver 420 mg of calcium, 396 mg of potassium and 360 mg of chloride, which is 53%, 20% and 45% of the nutrient reference value. Those two minerals are where digestion has an authorised claim, so it can be stated on evidence rather than hinted at.
Calcium contributes to the normal function of digestive enzymes. Chloride contributes to normal digestion by production of hydrochloric acid in the stomach. Vitamin B6 contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Potassium contributes to normal muscle function and to the normal functioning of the nervous system.

Dosage
