TRUE Honey Co. is raw monofloral manuka honey from New Zealand in a 250 g glass jar. You choose between MGO 300+ and MGO 500+, the two grades of methylglyoxal content by which manuka honey is sorted in New Zealand.
Manuka is Leptospermum scoparium, a shrub that flowers in New Zealand for only a few weeks a year. The honey from those flowers is dark, thick and spiced, with a flavour so pronounced that it belongs neither in baking nor in your tea as a sweetener. The texture is thick, almost creamy, and it stays put on the spoon, which is why this honey is eaten on its own rather than stirred into food.
The honey is neither pasteurised nor refined, so it stays raw. It is harvested, tested, packed and certified in New Zealand alone: the MPI ministry verifies that the honey is genuine manuka and every batch goes through an independent laboratory certified by the New Zealand government, DNA test included. The jar is fully recyclable.

How to use
The usual serving is one teaspoon a day, ideally on an empty stomach. Take it straight off the spoon, preferably a non metal one, or stir it into lukewarm water or milk. Never put it in a hot drink. It does not belong in baking or cooking, keep ordinary honey for that.

Warning
Not for children under 12 months. Anyone sensitive to bee products should be careful. Honey is naturally high in sugars, so eat it in small amounts as part of a varied diet. Store in a cool, dry place and close the jar properly after opening.
