MMA sparring gloves with a reinforced wrist
In black with gold logos, the Venum Attack 2.0 are MMA sparring gloves with 8 oz of padding over the knuckles and an open palm for grabbing your partner. They are a good choice if you train MMA regularly (2–4 times a week, according to the manufacturer) and move from stand-up to grappling within a single class.

Open palm and a strap across the wrist
High-density injected foam sits over the knuckles, while the palm stays open and the fingers free, so you can go straight from a strike into a grip. The thumb is attached, which limits how far it bends back on impact, and the flexible construction follows your hand and wrist.
The wrist is reinforced and the hook-and-loop strap fastens the glove securely. The polyester lining inside wicks sweat. The outer layer is black PU synthetic leather, with gold used only for the Venum logos and lettering on the back of the hand, the thumb and the strap. The model is made in Thailand.

How to find the right size
Choose from three sizes, S, M and L/XL, according to the size of your hand. The 8 oz figure describes the padding, not the size.
Try them on with hand wraps if you use them in training. The glove should sit firmly without turning, but it should not squash your fingers.

- Clench and relax your fistThe padding should cover your knuckles, and the palm should not bunch up.
- Check your gripGrab your partner's sleeve or a towel. Your fingers should bend without resistance.

How to measure: Measure around your hand at the base of your fingers, excluding your thumb. Allow for the hand wraps you use.
Fit advice: Venum recommends the smaller option when between sizes. Account for your wraps and finger comfort. The manufacturer lists 22 cm as the reference circumference for L/XL.

What is inside the glove?
A polyester lining that wicks sweat and high-density injected foam over the knuckles.
Can I use them on the bag as well?
Venum designs them for MMA training and sparring. Occasional bag or pad work is common, but expect the padding to wear faster. For hard bag work, boxing gloves are the better choice.
What does size L/XL mean?
It is a single size for hands that would otherwise be an L or an XL. You fine-tune the fit with the wrist strap.
How do I dry them after training?
Undo the strap, open the gloves up and let them dry naturally. Do not dry them on a radiator or in the sun, and do not machine wash them. Wiping the outer with a damp cloth is enough.
The padding softens the impact of strikes, but it cannot guarantee you will stay injury-free. Agree on the intensity with your partner and coach before you spar.
