Men's Jerseys & Rashguards Venum
A fitted rashguard or a looser training jersey? This category includes both. For ground training, compare how closely the top fits and how well it covers your torso; a looser shirt can also suit running and conditioning. Check the cut and intended use of the individual model.

How to choose a rashguard or training jersey
Fit, sleeve length, sizing and care after training.
What is the difference between a rashguard and a training jersey?
A rashguard fits closely around your torso and arms, leaving less loose fabric as you move. A training jersey can have a more relaxed cut: the BJP short-sleeve jersey is slightly fitted, whereas the BJP rashguard hugs the body.
The labels Dry-Tech or Walkout do not automatically mean a compression fit. For grappling, look for a fitted model designed for contact training; for running or gym sessions, consider how much room you prefer around your body.
How should a rashguard fit?
It should fit closely without painfully constricting your neck, underarms or chest. When trying it on, raise your arms overhead, rotate your torso and bend forward. Check that the seams do not restrict you and the hem does not keep riding up. Sizing down does not automatically improve performance.
If a size chart is available for the model, compare your chest and waist using its measuring guide. Body circumference is not the same as the width of a shirt laid flat. Missing measurements or between sizes? Email the product link, chest and waist measurements and your height to info@bjp-store.cz.
Should I choose short or long sleeves?
Long sleeves also cover your elbows and forearms, placing fabric between that skin and the mat during ground training. Short sleeves leave your forearms uncovered; choose according to mat contact and what feels comfortable while you train.
Sleeve length alone does not determine how warm a top will feel. Compare the fabric and its thickness too. For example, the BJP Rashguard with Short Sleeves and BJP Rashguard with Long Sleeves use the same SOFTEN fabric, with coverage being the main difference.
Can I wear a rashguard for no-gi and under a gi?
A fitted rashguard is used for no-gi training; check your gym's policy on wearing one under a gi. Training and competition rules may differ.
For example, IBJJF regulates no-gi rashguard colours and prohibits shirts under the gi for men. Before competing, check the current IBJJF uniform rules or your event organiser's rules. An MMA or UFC logo does not establish competition approval.
How should I wash a rashguard?
Take it out of your bag after training and wash it according to the care label. BJP and Venum G-Fit Air rashguards specify washing at 30 °C and no tumble drying. Wash BJP inside out; check each model's instructions for fabric softener, bleach and ironing.
Fasten hook-and-loop closures on other clothing to stop them catching the stretch fabric, or wash the rashguard separately. Air-dry it away from radiators. Wear a clean, dry top for your next session.
What if the size does not fit?
To get another size, return the original item and place a new order. As a consumer, you can notify us of your return within 30 days of receiving the goods. Try clothing on at home as you would in a shop; do not train in it or wash it before deciding.
See Returns and complaints for the process and conditions. Order the other size separately, subject to current availability.
Pair your rashguard with training tights or shorts. Check the cut and sizing of each item separately.
