The bestselling Contender range by Venum holds a cult status among beginners and intermediate fighters – and the 1.5 XT 3D version takes it a step further with an upgraded construction, multi-density injected foam and a striking 3D-effect logo motif that gives the glove an unmistakable visual identity.
The outer shell is made from high-quality semi-leather, offering strong wear resistance along with a comfortable feel on contact with bags and pads. Multi-density injected foam distributes impact across multiple planes, protecting hand joints during repeated strikes – whether on the bag, during pad work or in sparring. A full attached thumb stays in a safe position and minimises the risk of injury from off-centre strikes.
A large hook-and-loop closure wraps the wrist over a wide area, ensuring stable support and proper hand alignment along the punching axis. You can put them on and take them off by yourself, without a training partner's help. The gloves are designed for regular use 3–4 times per week and are suitable for boxing, kickboxing and Muay Thai. Product Care
After each training session, open the gloves and allow them to air dry in a well-ventilated area. Wipe the interior with an antibacterial spray or a damp cloth. Do not dry in direct sunlight, on a heater or in a tumble dryer. Use glove inserts or newspaper to absorb moisture. Clean the surface with a damp cloth – do not use harsh chemical cleaning agents.
