Lightweight gym shorts with zipped pockets
Venum Galactic 3.0 training shorts take you through the gym, sparring and conditioning with your phone and keys safely zipped away in the pockets. The waistband is elasticated with no fastening, and the lightweight fabric does not get in the way of squats, lunges or kicks. They will see you through a whole session, from the warm-up to the final conditioning block.

A zipped pocket next to the gold logo
The zipped side pockets keep hold of your keys or phone even when you run and jump. The elasticated waistband adapts to your waist and keeps the shorts in place, with no hook-and-loop closure to fasten.
The lightweight fabric in 92% polyester and 8% elastane has a slight stretch, and the above-the-knee cut leaves room for your thighs. Sublimated graphics in grey and black cover both legs entirely, and the Venum logo is printed in gold. The shorts match the Galactic 3.0 rashguards, which share the same distinctive graphics.
Choosing your size
Go by your waist and leave room for your thighs
Choose according to your waist measurement, as you would with your usual sports shorts. The waistband should stay put without digging in, and the legs should not pull across your thighs in a squat.
Sizes S, M, L, XL and XXL are available.

How to measure: Measure around your waist just above your hips. Keep the tape level and relaxed without holding in your stomach.
Fit advice: Choose using your waist measurement. The elastic waistband provides some flexibility; the shorts should stay secure as you move without feeling restrictive.
Frequently asked questions
Do they work for grappling too?
They are fine for the gym, conditioning and striking. On the ground, though, your partner's fingers can catch on the zips, so for grappling choose fight shorts without pockets or ask your coach.
Is there a fastening at the waist?
No. The elasticated waistband stays up by its stretch alone, so choose your size according to your waist measurement.
Are they compression shorts?
No. They are looser training shorts cut above the knee. If you want a close-fitting layer underneath, add compression shorts or tights.
How do I wash them?
Wash at 30°C, do not tumble dry and do not iron. Close the pocket zips before washing and leave the shorts to dry naturally.
