Creapure® is a German-made brand of creatine monohydrate that supplement makers buy as a raw material and name on the label. Reflex put it into capsules instead of a tub with a scoop: 700 mg per capsule, nothing else, a gelatine shell.

It works no differently from powder. What changes is when you remember to take it. Powder needs a shaker, water and a quiet minute. Capsules go down on the way home from training, or into a bag for a camp where there is nowhere to mix. That convenience costs: 90 capsules hold 63 g of creatine, while similar money buys 250 g of powder.

Creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high intensity exercise. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3 g of creatine. The claim concerns adults performing high intensity exercise.

Dosage

Take 2 capsules three times a day, ideally on an empty stomach. Six capsules a day come to 4.2 g of creatine monohydrate. On a training day, take one of the three servings after your session.
