How to choose an OPRO Silver mouthguard

How does Silver differ from Bronze and Gold?
Silver has a dual-layer construction and high-flow gel with classic fins. The manufacturer describes entry-level Bronze as a single-layer mouthguard with a fitting handle; Gold uses a more advanced gel and fin design. These are differences in construction and fitting, rather than a rule that one range will automatically fit everyone.
Why might the fitting tool in the instructions differ from a photo?
OPRO updates its ranges over time. The manufacturer describes current Silver models with a compression cage; older packs may contain a different tool. Follow the instructions and accessories in your own pack. If you are unsure, send us a photo of the mouthguard, packaging and tool before heating it. The Silver name alone may not identify the generation.
How should I choose between Silver Junior and an adult model?
OPRO's Junior / Youth guideline is for children under 10, and Senior / Adult for ages 10 and over. A birthday does not guarantee a fit. Check the specific product label and assess the fit after moulding. Do not compensate for an oversized or poorly fitting guard by clenching it throughout training.
What if Silver falls out or presses painfully after moulding?
A correctly fitted mouthguard should stay in place without constant clenching and allow breathing and communication. If it falls out, presses painfully or restricts breathing, do not use it for contact training. An undamaged guard can be remoulded according to its instructions. Contact us if the problem persists; reheating does not repair a damaged or bitten-through guard.
