Compression tights under fight shorts or on their own
The Performance Tight are men's compression tights for combat sports training and conditioning: they hug your legs, don't ride up in groundwork and don't get in the way under fight shorts. They suit you if you want your thighs and calves covered in grappling, or if you prefer tight-fitting kit in the weight room. The tights belong to the performance side of the UFC Unity by Venum collection.

Elasticated waistband with UFC and Venum lettering
The compression fabric of 75% polyester and 25% elastane stretches in a squat, a lunge and a roll on the mat and stays close to the leg. The elasticated waistband has repeating UFC and VENUM lettering, and the seams are reinforced for regular use.
The black base has white UFC and Venum logos on the thighs and lettering on the calves, all screen-printed. Pair the tights with the black long sleeve rashguard from the same collection, or wear them under fight shorts.
Choosing your size
The tights should hug, not squeeze
Your waist and hip measurements decide the size. A compression fit is tight by nature, but it should not restrict you in a squat or dig in at the waist. If you are between two sizes, go for the larger one if you want less compression.
Sizes S, M, L, XL and XXL. Made in China. The leg length is fixed: in the photos the legs end at the ankles.

How to measure: Measure around your waist just above your hips. Keep the tape level and relaxed without holding in your stomach.
Fit advice: These tights are designed for a close compression fit. At the upper end of a range, consider a larger size if you prefer lighter compression.
Frequently asked questions
Do I wear them on their own or under shorts?
Both. Venum designed them to be worn alone or under fight shorts: in grappling they cover your legs, and under shorts they work as a thin close-fitting layer.
Do they have pockets?
No. For your keys, pair them with the Performance Short from the same collection, which has zipped pockets.
Are they good for the weight room too?
Yes. Venum intends them for training in general, so they work in the weight room or for conditioning too, if you like close-fitting compression kit.
How do I wash the tights?
Wash at 30°C, do not tumble dry and do not iron. Leave them to dry naturally.

The gear UFC fighters walk out in
