Liquid omega-3 with vitamin D
Orange-flavoured fish oil suits you if fish is rarely on your menu and you prefer a measured liquid to capsules. EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart. The 250 ml bottle provides 50 adult doses and includes vitamin D3.

Heart, brain and vision
EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart. DHA contributes to maintenance of normal brain function and to the maintenance of normal vision.
Vitamin D in the same dose
Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and to the normal function of the immune system. It is added to the oil as vitamin D3.
Norwegian cod and orange flavour
The oil from wild Norwegian cod is in its natural triglyceride form and is MSC certified. Natural orange flavour suits taking it directly or stirring it into cold food.
The beneficial effect on the heart is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA. The beneficial effects of DHA on brain function and vision are obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA. The 5 ml dose meets these conditions. The smaller children’s dose depends on age and is shown in the table.
Recommended daily dose
Measure by age, give with food
- Children from 1 year until their 6th birthday: 2.5 ml once daily. Children aged 6 and over and adults: 5 ml once daily.
- Give during or after a meal. Use a measure marked in millilitres, as ordinary teaspoons can vary in size.
- If mixing into cold food, use a small portion that will be finished. Discuss any additional vitamin D for children with their doctor.

Your questions answered
How does it differ from Kids 150 ml?
The composition per 5 ml is the same. The larger bottle provides 50 full doses instead of 30. However, its 5 ml dose is recommended from 6 years, compared with 7 years for Kids. Always follow the children’s dosing for the bottle you are using.
Why are the omega-3 and DHA + EPA amounts different?
Each 5 ml contains a total of 1,040 mg of omega-3. DHA and EPA are two specific omega-3 fatty acids and account for 830 mg of that total. The weight of the whole fish oil is a separate figure.
Does the smaller dose provide all the stated benefits?
The 2.5 ml dose contains 225 mg of DHA. On its own, it does not reach the daily intake of 250 mg of DHA at which the benefits for brain function and vision are obtained. Do not increase a child’s dose for this reason; follow the age-specific instructions.
When should I choose liquid oil rather than capsules?
Liquid oil lets you measure a child’s dose, suits anyone who finds capsules hard to swallow and includes vitamin D. Capsules are more convenient for travel because they do not need refrigeration after opening.
Which foods can I add it to?
Yoghurt, a smoothie or another cold portion you will finish. Do not use it for cooking or frying. Once opened, refrigerate at or below 7 °C and use within 6 months and before the best-before date.
