How to prepare Yerba?
Yerba can be watered several times without significant loss of Yerba effects. Normally, for one dose of Yerba we make up to 6 new infusions. It is therefore not necessary to give "new Yerba" for each additional calabash. If you are sensitive to caffeine, we recommend starting with one tablespoon and then adding more. To prepare Yerba Mate traditionally, you will need a calabash and a bombilla, which you can also purchase from our e-shop. If you don't have a kettle that can be set to a temperature, feel free to get a thermometer.
1. If you are a beginner, it is enough to put in a calabash 2 - 3 tablespoons. FROM experienced users they can up to 4 - 5 tablespoons.
2. Pour some water into the calabash to wet the Yerba leaves. Meanwhile, put the water on 70 to 80 degrees.
3. Once the water is ready and the Yerba calabash leaves are soaked, fill the kettle with Yerba calabash to the brim.
4. Let it steep for at least 3 minutes and then you can drink it through a bombilla all day long.
5. You can water the yerba repeatedly until it loses its flavor.
