Nordbo Vitamin C & Zinc contains two ingredients important for an effective defense shield - vitamin C and zinc. Vitamin C is contained in the supplement in a very high dose. In addition, it is in the acid-neutral form of calcium ascorbate, so it is gentle on the stomach. While zinc is in the chelated form of zinc picolinate, where zinc is bound to picolinic acid (a natural metabolite of tryptophan), it is therefore very readily available to the body.
Why calcium ascorbate?
Many supplements contain L-ascorbic acid, which has an acidic pH and can also irritate the stomach. Calcium ascorbate, on the other hand, is a buffered form of vitamin C, which has a higher (more alkaline) pH value and is gentle on the stomach even in higher doses.
I'm Vegan Certification
The I'm Vegan certificate is awarded by the Swedish organization Djurens Rätt (Animal Rights), which guarantees that the product is 100% plant-based and no animal ingredients were used in its production.
