Product detailed description

Vitamin K2 - A VITAL substance and a major player in the health of teeth, bones and the proper use of calcium in the body. This vitamin K2 in the form of MK-7 (menaquinone-7 of plant origin) has a molecular structure that can be absorbed more quickly and is therefore immediately available to the body. Vitamin K2 contributes to normal blood clotting. In particular, vitamin K2 activates osteocalcin, which is bound to calcium and stored in bone mass. Additionally, Vitamin K2 MK-7 helps dissolve calcium from soft tissue. In short, K2 is responsible for ensuring that calcium gets where it needs to go and doesn't end up in places in the body where it shouldn't (kidney stones, vascular calcification, etc.) Intake of large amounts of calcium without simultaneous intake of vit. K2 (such as from dairy products and milk from non-grazed animals or from calcium tablets, etc.) is literally dangerous. Like vitamin D3, K2 contributes to maintaining the normal condition of bones and teeth, and together they work optimally synergistically. Please note, the MK-7 form is ideal for most people, but I strongly recommend that pregnant and breastfeeding women take mainly the natural animal form of MK-4 (e.g. from Emu oil and foods rich in it), especially because MK-7 does not cross the placental barrier and does not reach the fetus at all, MK-4 is key for optimal development and width of the cranial cavity, pelvic floor and the rest of the skeleton, and also because MK-4 is the only K2 in breast milk and directly passes into it.

Epidemiological studies conducted in the last decade among Central Europeans have shown that sufficient intake of vitamin K2 is of great importance for cardiovascular and bone health. Studies in Japan have shown such a strong effect of vit. K2 for osteoporosis, that it has become common practice there for a doctor to prescribe vitamin K2 and then have it reimbursed by insurance. In Japan, similar effects of vitamin K1 and K2 are reported, but there is a big difference in absorbability in humans, which is up to 10% for K1 and almost 100% for K2.

The most common question is - what is the difference between K1 and K2? K1 was discovered in 1929 as an essential factor for blood coagulation (hence the abbreviation K). The newly discovered vitamin K2 is important for bone metabolism. While K1 is found in plants such as leafy greens, K2 is present in fermented foods, foods of animal origin, and is also produced to some extent and under certain circumstances by bacteria present in the gastrointestinal tract. So K1 is basically produced by plants and used in the human body to regulate blood clotting (coagulant). Importantly, human beings cannot very efficiently produce K2 from consuming K1 from vegetation (and especially in the case of a compromised microbiome): only herbivores with a specific digestive system, such as cows, etc., can do this. Vitamin K2 is what we call an "activator," which in its case means that it stimulates the production of osteocalcin, a protein that essentially gets minerals (especially calcium) where they need to go. This vitamin is produced by various animals from the consumption of K1 in grassy vegetation. With the industrialization of the food system and the advent of feeding animals mainly with grains, pellets, seeds, etc. instead of pasture/hay, this vitamin has almost disappeared from our modern diet, which is poor in animal production from truly pastured and naturally fed healthy animals and their products. As early as 1945, Dr. Weston A. Price (probably the best dentist of all time) described a "new vitamin activator" that played a significant role in mineral utilization, protection against tooth decay, growth and development, reproduction, protection against heart disease, and proper brain function. Through chemical testing, he discovered that this compound, which he called activator X, is found, for example, in butter, organs, and fat of animals that consume green grass, as well as in some seafood, such as fish eggs (caviar). For many traditional cultures, these foods were sacred and played a key role in reproduction, nutrition, and maintaining a strong lineage. That is why in the traditional cultures that Dr. Price visited around the world there were minimal signs of degeneration of the skeleton, cranial cavity and teeth, development of the pelvic floor, etc., as is unfortunately the case in modern cultures with a strong deficiency of, among others, vit. K2 and overall quality food. Modern cultures, on the other hand, are overwhelmed with processed foods, sugar, flour, pro-inflammatory vegetable oils, and all sorts of convenience foods that further deepen the degeneration and deficiencies of the body. Vitamin K2 is one of the key substances for the robustness and vitality of the organism, I am preparing a whole article about it, which will be published here on the website soon.

Osteoporosis and vascular calcification have similar etiopathogenetic mechanisms. Vitamin K2 deficiency may be responsible for the so-called "calcium paradox", i.e. calcium deficiency in the bones and, conversely, its deposition in the vascular walls. Vitamin K2 deficiency is related to reduced intake in the modern diet, impaired intestinal resorption, or changes in intestinal microflora.

Vitamin K2 is also very suitable to use if vitamin D3 is used regularly and for a longer period of time. By taking vitamin D, the body produces more proteins dependent on vitamin K2. These have many health benefits, but logically only with sufficient amounts of vitamin K2 can they be activated.

The lifetime risk of developing at least one fracture is reduced by 25% with daily intake of 800 IU of vitamin D, 45 µg of vitamin K2, and 1200 mg of calcium. In addition, vitamin K2 can also prevent tartar formation on the outer upper molars and behind the lower front teeth due to high levels of calcium in saliva. Vitamin K2 has also been linked to kidney health, cancer prevention, and blood sugar stabilization.

Among others. Vitamin K2: fundamentally influences calcium metabolism and acts synergistically with vit. D
                          contributes to normal blood flow
helps keep blood vessels, teeth and bones healthy

This product offers a huge/very economical dose and high vitamin K2 content (20 mcg per drop/200 mcg per daily dose of 10 drops) in a stable amber glass bottle, protected from light - with a medical pipette. These drops have high bioavailability and contribute to maintaining the normal condition of bones, teeth, blood clotting and activation of osteocalcin. The drops are vegetarian-friendly, the vitamin K2 present is extracted using organic synthesis methods from the plant raw materials geraniol and farnesol. These come from roses and lemongrass.

  • No additives

  • High-quality, medium-chain fatty acids (MCT coconut oil) are used as carrier oils for optimal absorption of this fat-soluble vitamin K2.

These laboratory-tested drops are made in Germany. Thanks to production and certified quality in Hamburg, the quality of each batch is consistent.

Easy dosing with a high-quality medical pipette, flexible application, directly into the mouth or into drinks or cold foods.

K2 is a fat-soluble vitamin and needs fat or oil as a transport medium that the body uses. That's why the basis of these drops is MCT coconut oil. Combining it with oil increases bioavailability and these two vitamins are absorbed very well by the body.

Take 10 drops daily (or as needed and recommended by your doctor).
Using the medical pipette included in the package, you can easily and accurately dose this vitamin K2.
You can place the drops directly on your tongue or mix them with a drink or food.
