Reishi mushroom, also known as the queen of mushrooms, has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years. Its name translates to divine mushroom of immortality. It grows abundantly in Asia, but also in Finland, and this extract comes from the Finnish wild reishi mushroom.

In ancient China, mushrooms were most often dried, sliced, and boiled in hot water to make hot tea or soup.
