    Rhodiola extract Puhdistamo is prepared from wild, free-growing Rhodiola (Rhododendron rosea) originating from the untouched region of Finnish Lapland. It is still unaffected by toxic pollution, so it offers a literal wealth of nature.
     
    Tradition - Rhodiola was already known to the Vikings, who used it to enhance physical strength and endurance. For the same reason, Sherpas still use it today when climbing high altitudes.     Active ingredients - Rhodiola contains substances such as salidroside, rosavin, syringin and triandrin, which are phenolic compounds whose properties are related to the area of stress management, energy levels, sleep quality and overall fitness.
     
    Properties - The substances contained in Rhodiola have a stimulating effect on the body and mind, but at the same time, unlike caffeine, they do not cause excessive levels of stress hormones (cortisol and others). On the contrary, they have properties related to setting balanced levels of these hormones. The organism thus responds well to stress, but at the same time does not work in debt. B vitamins, for example, have a very similar effect.
