In fact, all "pre-workouts" (95% on the market) are built solely on the principle of kick-starting and stimulation with a strong dose of caffeine or other stimulants, and are also heavily flavored with chemicals (sweetener, coloring, flavoring). Subsequently, a mix of a few amino acids (usually in negligible amounts or in the wrong form) or a little creatine and in many cases other stimulants are added.
