Choosing your size
Boxing glove sizes are given in ounces (oz), which is the weight of one glove. Use the table to choose by your body weight. For fights, 10 oz is the usual choice, and for working your shoulders harder you can happily go one size up.
Try the gloves on over your hand wraps. You should be able to make a fist comfortably and fasten the hook-and-loop strap so the glove holds your wrist firmly without digging in anywhere.

FAQ
What's the difference between Legend and Warrior?
Legend sits at the top of the range and is aimed at advanced and professional fighters. It has top-quality leather and four-layer padding. Warrior gloves have buffalo leather, a Thai-style cut and padding made from three types of material. They're mainly designed for amateur and advanced fighters.
What size should I choose for sparring?
Most gyms use heavier gloves for sparring, usually 14 or 16 oz depending on your weight. Lighter 10 oz gloves are typical for fights. If you're not sure, ask your coach which gloves your gym uses.
Do I need hand wraps under the gloves?
Yes. Hand wraps or inner gloves add stability to your hand and wrist, and the gloves fit better with them on. Bear them in mind when choosing your size too.
Care
After training, undo the hook-and-loop strap, pull the cuff open and leave the gloves to dry outside your bag. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth. Don't dry them on a radiator or in direct sunlight, as the leather would dry out and crack. Never put the gloves in the washing machine.

Dutch combat sports gear since 1978
Super Pro started out in Rotterdam in 1978 as one of the first combat sports shops in the Netherlands. Today it is a European brand nicknamed “The Champion's Choice”, kitting out kickboxers, Muay Thai fighters, boxers and MMA athletes from their first session all the way to the professional ring.
In the late 1990s kickboxing coach Dennis Krauweel took over the brand and expanded it across Europe. The gloves are made in Thailand from Thai leather with multi-layer padding, and the gear is developed together with coaches and world champions.
