Nordbo Omega-3 oil represents the top of the line among fish oils in terms of purity, freshness, sustainable fish farming and environmental friendliness. While the industry standard for conventional oils is a production period of 6 to 12 months from the moment the fish is caught, Nordbo oil is bottled 3-4 hours after it is caught. This step is very important because any fish will begin to decompose and oxidize very quickly after being caught. For this reason, fast and gentle processing is essential, especially due to the highest quality and purity, but also due to the incredibly fresh and neutral taste. While standard industrially processed fish oils often come from South America (Peru or Chile) and sometimes spend months on the road, Nordbo oil is produced on a sustainable ASC-certified fish farm, which is a maximum of 50km from the processing site. This creates a minimal CO2 footprint and at the same time the oil retains its freshness and very high natural fatty acid content.

ASC certification: Aquaculture Stewardship Council
ASC is a multinational sustainability certificate for fish farms that guarantees sustainable farming and production. The ASC certificate regulates, among other things, fish feed, antibiotic use, animal health, and product traceability back to its place of origin. It also oversees the working conditions of employees.
10 requirements for certification
1. Fish must live exclusively in conditions that reflect the best possible natural habitat conditions, which includes clean, flowing water.
2. Fish must have access to sufficient feed from a natural and GMO-free source. The resulting fish supplement should be made from by-products.
3. Conventional synthetic substances that could damage the aquatic environment must not be used when caring for fish or ponds.
4. Fish farms must have monitoring of the health and condition of the animals carried out by an independent veterinarian.
5. Fish must have access to surrounding natural rivers and streams.
6. Water from farms discharged into the open environment must be checked for the content of oxygen, nitrates, nitrites, phosphorus and other substances.
7. Fish farming must have a long-term plan for sustainable management and prioritize green energy and recyclable materials.
8.Production must be fully traceable from the point of manufacture to the final product.
9. Fish must have enough space for natural movement without stress and without injuring each other.
10. Fish must be caught using so-called soft methods (nets) and transported in approved containers.

Packaging: 200 ml
Dosage: Children 1-10 years: 2.5 ml (1/2 teaspoon) daily. Children 11-17 years old: 5 ml (1 teaspoon) daily. Adults, pregnant and lactating women 5-15 ml (1-3 teaspoons) daily. Package contains 13-40 daily doses (up to 80 daily doses for children), depending on the selected dosage.
