Premium fish oil from Scandinavian rainbow trout. This is a fish oil that sets the bar in terms of nutritional quality, taste, freshness, purity and environmental sustainability. It contains essential fatty acids, substances that are very important for the body, but which the body cannot produce on its own. Thanks to gentle production, it is ensured that the oil contains their entire spectrum - omega 3, 6, 7 and 9 as they naturally occur in nature. These substances are rich in eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), the effects and influence of which have been scientifically described and verified many times.

Gentle processing and its benefits

Conventional fish oil production is a very long, industrially demanding process that takes place across many countries. Fish are first caught in the ocean (which is itself polluted with many substances). This is followed by cleaning (refining), a long journey of crude oil by ship, deacidification, bleaching, odor removal, trans-esterification, concentration (by molecular distillation), addition of antioxidants, bottling, and only then is the final product created. These processes cause the loss of some fatty acids or changes in their profiles.

Oil coming from the controlled environment of an inland river needs none of that. It does not undergo refining to remove contamination, and rapid production and processing prevent oxidation that degrades the contents. The nutritional qualities, taste and ecological impact cannot be compared to conventional oils at all.

The production of Viridian Oil takes place in these three steps:

2) The oil is obtained through a gentle process of steaming and centrifugation while heating to 70-90%

Natural and functional form of vitamins usable by the body

Do they have vitamins and minerals in some form? And why shouldn't they all be equally useful for the body? That's right. We can show this with iron, one of the most essential minerals. In common supplements, it is found, for example, in the form of oxide. This form is of little use to the body, and the reason it is used in common supplements is again its low price. For example, Viridian uses a direct extract from the leaves of the Murraya koenigii plant in its Liquid Iron supplement, which provides iron in 100% natural form.

Only vegetable capsules, no tablets

Tablets with binders are cheaper than capsules, but they contain a high proportion of ballast binders and adhesives, which can make up to 70% of the tablet. If you take dietary supplements in tablets, you can consume up to a kilogram of adhesives and other ballast in a year.

And be careful – many capsules also contain magnesium stearate, which is added to them to prevent the capsule from sticking to the production line. Viridian capsules are made exclusively from natural ingredients.

No GMO ingredients

Genetically modified crops are unnatural. They are created primarily with the aim of increasing yield and are a product of the agrochemical industry. You will never find any GMO ingredients in Viridian products.

No irradiated components

Food irradiation is carried out using ionizing radiation (alpha, beta, gamma, X-rays, etc.) - i.e. radioactive radiation to deactivate the enzymes and living biocultures contained in the food, which extends its shelf life. 

No artificial sweeteners

Artificial sweeteners are supposed to be a more suitable alternative to sugar, but in reality they are artificial (synthetic) molecular combinations that are unnatural for our bodies and the environment. Why consume something that does not belong in our body and environment?

Without artificial colors and preservatives

No artificial colors, no preservatives. You won't find these or any other artificial additives in Viridian products.

Free of magnesium stearate, titanium dioxide and shellac

Titanium dioxide, or titanium white, is used as a colorant. You can find it in many pharmaceutical products, common dietary supplements, industrially processed foods, on tennis courts, where white lines are formed around the court, and also on the Saturn V rocket, where it helped as an exterior coating. Magnesium stearate is used as a lubricant - it prevents capsules from seizing on the production line. In combination with water and soap, it forms an insoluble substance, which forms, for example, typical non-removable rings on bathtubs. Shellac is a resin secreted by the female lacquer worm, an insect living in India. Sheets of this resin dissolve in ethyl alcohol to form liquid shellac, which is used as a varnish and glaze. These substances are commonly used in dietary supplements, medicines, and foods. You won't find them in Viridian supplements.

Ecological bottles

Viridian uses amber glass bottles that protect the contents from light and heat. At the same time, they can be recycled or reused. They can also be returned to our stores in exchange for a discount on your next purchase. The cap on the bottles is made of recyclable aluminum and the seal on the cap is made of cornstarch – Viridian uses no plastic.

No palm fat

Viridian is the first brand in the world to be certified by POFCAP – The Palm Oil Free Accreditation Programme. This guarantees that the brand does not use palm oil in its products or during production.
